The Labs.4.SMEs project aimed to enhance the cooperation between SMEs and Innovation Labs to strengthen, speed up and facilitate the innovation process in companies, regardless of their size.

The project, coordinated by Ecipa, mapped the Innovation Labs in the program area (Italia-Austria) with a description of the Labs, the available tools and the services provided. Then created an online platform as a virtual meeting place for the interaction and mathing of demand and supply between Labs and businesses. Under the sections EXPLORE and COLLABORATE there are information about services provided by the Labs, stories of successful projects and competences/expertise required.

In order to identify a transferable model for cooperation (the “CO-MOD”) between companies and Labs for future projects, the partnership carried out 21 pilot projects between Labs and companies to accelerate digital innovation.

During the project an awareness campaign has been implemented in the program area by the partnreship.
